Raymond V. Borleske Stadium is the home of the Whitman College baseball team, the Blues. This historic collegiate baseball stadium is a beloved Walla Walla landmark. It has seen several upgrades since its inauguration in 1926. With the addition of stadium lights, sunken dugouts, concession stands, premium field boxes, and the modern Edwards-Moore Clubhouse, it is now one of Walla Walla’s premier sports destinations.

History & Fun Facts

  • Borleske Stadium is also home to the Walla Walla Sweets, the local West Coast League summer collegiate baseball team.
  • In 1947 the stadium was named after Whitman alum Raymond V. Borleske ’10. Borleske played for Whitman’s football and baseball teams as a running back, defender, kicker, pitcher, catcher and third baseman.
  • Borleske Stadium is a dual-purpose field, hosting fall football games after baseball season is over.
