The Sherwood Athletic Center is a key facility at Whitman College, serving as a versatile space for the college community. It houses the George Ball Court, home of Whitman’s varsity basketball and volleyball teams. It also includes varsity team locker rooms, a varsity weight room, a digital video editing and viewing room, a multipurpose gym, four exercise rooms, community locker rooms, showers, a sauna, and a state-of-the-art Climbing Center. Sherwood acts as a central hub for student-athletes at the college, providing a wide range of facilities for sports, fitness and fun.
