Bratton Indoor Tennis Center
Your destination for year-round Whitman tennis
The Bratton Tennis Center is the premier tennis facility at Whitman College. This 28,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, well-lit center is home to Whitman’s men’s and women's champion varsity tennis teams. It features four indoor courts repping the Whitman blue and gold, a spacious balcony for match viewing, a stringing machine and other amenities. Ideal for varsity teams, intramurals and recreational play, the facility provides a year-round destination for exciting tennis action. Located on Boyer Avenue, the Bratton Tennis Center guarantees a top-notch tennis experience in any weather.

History & Fun Facts
- The tennis center was named in honor of former Whitman College President Walter A. Bratton.
- It was made possible through generous contributions, notably from Bratton’s grandson, Walter A. “Jerry” Bratton ’60, who played for the Whitman men’s tennis team.
