Paul and Louise Harvey Pool
Home to Whitman’s varsity swim teams and more
Since 2006, the Paul and Louise Harvey Aquatic Center (Harvey Pool) has served as the home of the Whitman College men's and women's varsity swim teams. Located in the Baker Ferguson Fitness Center, the 25-meter pool features eight competitive lanes, three warmup lanes, team seating around the pool and an elevated seating area for spectators. With touchpad technology, you’ll see your time on the scoreboard the instant you touch the wall.

History & Fun Facts
- Opened in 2006, the pool was named for Paul and Louise Harvey. Paul was the Director of Whitman Food Service from 1954 to 1977.
- Harvey Pool hosted the 2007 Northwest Conference Men’s and Women’s Swimming Championship.
- In addition to competitive swim meets, the pool is open to the Whitman community for swim classes, lap swimming and kayaking.
