Erica Aydelotte, a four-year starter at forward, made the All-NWC First Team in three of her four seasons, and at the time of her graduation ranked second on Whitman’s all-time scoring list for women’s basketball with 1,249 career points.
In addition to averaging 13.5 points per game for her career, Aydelotte grabbed 421 rebounds and dished out 169 assists during her four seasons, finishing with 82 steals and 50 blocked shots, as well. Her coach, John Wilcox said," Erica was a skilled player. One of the best we had at Whitman. Her strength was shooting, but she had other skills as well. She could do whatever I asked of her."
Aydelotte scored a career-high 29 points in three different games in three different seasons along with pouring in 27 in an overtime district playoff game. A two-year captain, Aydelotte, as a senior, led Whitman to one of its best seasons in school history (17-7, 9-3 NWC). Whitman made the district playoffs in three of her four seasons.
After graduation Erica has enjoyed her teaching career. She has coached basketball, volleyball and track & field at Klamath Falls High School.
