WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Whitman College basketball's final weekend of the regular season brings with it Friday's Pink Night sponsored by the Whitman Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Whitman basketball.

This event, which takes place during tonight's men's and women's basketball doubleheader vs. George Fox, supports the St. Mary's Providence Foundation Jan Erickson Lifesaver Fund that provides free mammograms to uninsured and low income women in the Walla Walla Community. Donations will be collected at halftime of both games along with the opportunity to win tremendous Whitman gear by purchasing raffle tickets in the foyer.

Fans wishing to donate by credit card may do so in the foyer as well.

The annual event is hosted in support of breast cancer awareness. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be forwarded to the Jan Erickson Life Saver Fund of the Providence St. Mary Foundation in town.

The Life Saver Fund supplies free mammograms for women without insurance, and financial support for families struggling to get by because of a breast cancer diagnosis.
