The top-seeded Blues (23-2) finished the league season at 15-1 and secured their first NWC regular season title since the 2013-14 season. The Whitman/UPS winner will play either No. 2 Pacific (Ore.) or No. 3 George Fox who square off in the other semifinal.
Leading the charge for the Blues are career 1,000-point scorers Makana Stone and Mady Burdett. Averaging a near double double, Stone ranks in the NWC's top 5 in both scoring (15.9 ppg) and rebounds (8.6 rpg). Burdett, one of Whitman's most prolific scorers, leads the league with a 41.8 three-point shooting percentage. Sophomore Kaylie McCracken continues to have a stellar season off the bench, ranking third on the Blues with 11.1 ppg and 6.3 rpg.
Whitman swept the Loggers in their season series and are a perfect 10-0 at home this season.
