WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Whitman Athletics has bolstered its facilities and events personnel, elevating Stephen Gall to Director of Facilities and Events and hiring Kahili Helm as Assistant Event and Facility Management. Helm will also serve as the College's club sports coordinator.

Gall was hired in 2017 as Assistant Director of Event Management and Sport Communication before assuming his elevated role. In addition to overseeing the maintenance and improvement of all Whitman's athletics facilities, he heads up game operations for all Whitman home athletics contests. Whitman has hosted several postseason events under his watch including the NCAA West Region Cross Country Championships and NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in the same year.

Helm was hired in the fall of 2021 and will work closely with Gall on the staffing for and running of events. He is a local product having graduated from Walla Walla High School were he lettered in football, baseball and swimming. Helm swam collegiately at Linfield University where he graduated with a degree in sport management.
