MISSION STATEMENT
The Whitman College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) serves as a liaison between student-athletes and administration by representing the unified voice of Whitman athletes, and creating possible solutions when problems arise. We strive to bring the student athlete community together and work to provide meaningful interactions while supporting our fellow athletes. The committee is comprised of student-athletes leaders from each team within the Whitman athletic community.
Whitman College SAAC promotes volunteer work in support of their fellow athletes and in the Walla Walla community. SAAC also supports the NCAA's National SAAC agenda and values its voice in the legislative process and the opportunity to support local charities and organizations chosen at the national level.
Above all, Whitman College SAAC works to represent the best of Whitman College athletics on campus, in competition and in the community. We value the opportunity to be positive leaders who embrace the challenges and unique lessons that college athletics has to offer.
