PREVIEW: Men's Soccer Faces Texas Lutheran In NCAA First Round

SAN ANTONIO - The 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament is just days from getting underway as the Whitman College men's soccer team prepares for its opening round opponent Texas Lutheran University. The two will square off on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Central Time (4:30 p.m. Pacific Time) at Paul McGinlay Field.

Trinity University (TX) serves as the host for the four-team opening round pod. The Tigers will take on Hardin Simmons in the first match of the evening.

The Blues (14-0-6) qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history after topping Pacific Lutheran on Sunday to claim the Northwest Conference title and secure the league's automatic qualifier.

Texas Lutheran (12-4-3) earned an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament by winning the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship, after finishing as the runner-up in the regular season. The Bulldogs will make their third appearance in the NCAA Tournament and first since 2019.
