Whitman Athletics Inducts Four Into Hall of Fame

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - On Sunday, April 12, 2025, Whitman College Athletics inducted four individuals into the Whitman Athletics Hall of Fame. The honorees were the following:

Francisco Blanch (men's soccer student-athlete)
Floyd Bunt, Jr. (men's soccer coach)
Tracy Griffin Zerr (women's swimming) - honored posthumously
Galen Sollom-Brotherton (men's swimming)

The ceremony took place at the Reid Campus Center on the Whitman College campus which was preceded by a social and dinner in the Cordiner Hall foyer.

W Club past vice-president Kincaid Hoffman was the master of ceremonies and the event was kicked off by a welcome from Whitman Athletics Director Kim Chandler and current W Club vice president Casey Mickelson.

Each Hall of Fame inductee was introduced by their presenter listed below
Chris Bromley (Francisco Blanch) - Whitman Class of '97
Steve Ward (Tracey Griffin Zerr) - Whitman Class of '85
Dr. Gregory Glenn (Floyd Bunt, Jr.) - Whitman Class of '77
Jenn Blomme (Galen Sollom-Brotherton) - Whitman head swimming coach
