Noah Braunel (baseball)
Major: Economics
Favorite Memory: My favorite memory of being a student-athlete at Whitman was volunteering to coach local kids in the Walla Walla Valley through our Whitman baseball camps. I enjoyed seeing the kids have fun with their friends playing the game I grew up loving. I thoroughly enjoyed the tight-knit community that comes with being a student-athlete at Whitman College. I built meaningful friendships with athletes from many different sports that I will cherish forever. Whitman coaches recruit high quality people, and the relationships with those people made my time here such a rewarding experience. Also, hitting a walk-off home run against Eastern Oregon University for my first collegiate home run.
Plans After College: I’m currently looking for career opportunities in business management, sales or marketing. But right now I’m not quite sure what’s next in my life.

Paul Florence (men's cross country/track)
Major: Politics
Favorite Memory: Some of my favorite memories of being on the Whitman Cross Country and Distance Track teams have been belting Basshunter's "All I Ever Wanted" on the bus ride home after a meet, taking class pictures while eating Taqueria Mi Pueblito burritos in the wheatf ields during pre-season (and the joys of seeing teammates first get to know one another or be reunited with familiar faces they haven't seen in a long time), and (of course) all of the silly asks I have witnessed and been a part of for Taq formal. One lasting memory from this year in particular was being able to have our whole team (even those who had not qualified and were not racing) be able to attend the Northwest Conference Championship Cross Country race, as this was just so fun and created such an electric atmosphere for those that were racing. Some others are running at Mill Creek and Bennington, motivational speeches and huddle before workouts, and our cheer before races ("Pedal to the metal, keep it hot, Blues, Blues, we're on top...). There's so many things that I will miss about the XC and Distance Track teams. It's truly been an unforgettable four years, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Plans After College: After graduation, I plan to move to Anchorage, Alaska and work for the Ship Creek Group (a political consulting firm), working on donor and voter outreach and working to protect Alaska's unique top-four open primary and ranked-choice-voting system.

William Lanstra (men's tennis)
Major: Rhetoric, Writing & Public Discourse
Favorite Memory: Our team trip to Cambodia, beating George Fox, winning the conference championship, traveling to Nationals, and spring break are all moments that will serve me a lifetime of happiness. However, all of those moments are surprisingly beat by something so simple yet so important to me. Going to the library. When I first came to college, I was not the best student and I had no clue what I wanted to do or even study. I loved tennis, and that was about it. Grades and academics I knew were important, but I had no plan on how to do well in my classes. This all changed my second semester when I took a Rhetoric class with a teammate by the name of Alejandro Raffo from Lima Peru. Ale was 1 year above me and was a history major with outstanding grades. It was in this class that Ale taught me how to be an excellent student. Everyday of the week no matter how tough the practice, how heavy the lift, or how long the weekend, Ale and I would go to the library from 8pm to 1am. We would work no matter how much or how little we had to do. These library sessions soon became something I looked forward to at the end of each day and it is where I learned about consistency, grit, hard work, and determination in my academics. For the rest of our college careers, Ale and I would go at the same time everyday and work together as teammates. Without Ale I would have never learned how to be a good student. Without the supportive team and community, I would have never learned how to succeed outside of the court. Without Whitman Tennis, I would have never grown to be the man I am today.
Plans After College: After Graduation I plan to find work for 1-2 years before applying to Law School - just like Ale.

Julia Longpre (women's tennis)
Major: Psychology
Favorite Memory: One of my favorite memories as a student-athlete at Whitman was traveling to Nationals in Boston. Being able to compete at that level was incredibly rewarding, but what made the experience even more meaningful was the time we spent together off the court. Exploring the city, spending time as a team, and sharing that experience brought us closer and really strengthened our bond. It stands out as one of our best trips because it captured both the competitive and personal sides of being part of a team.
Plans After College: After graduation, I will be attending the University of Miami to pursue a graduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. I’m excited to continue my education and explore opportunities within the field as I work toward my long-term goals.

Lucas McAllister (men's soccer)
Major: Computer Science
Favorite Memory: My favorite memory was our last league game this past season. We played PLU on their home turf. Last game of the season, we were tied on points and the winner clinched the league and a berth to the NCAA tournament. We beat them in a comeback win and won 3-1. The whole weekend leading up to that game was unforgettable. And then after, celebrating with my teammates and coaches after all 4 years of work for that exact moment. It was surreal and a moment I will remember for the rest of my life.
Plans After College: I plan to continue my soccer career and potentially go to graduate school to pursue physical therapy.

Plans After College: After graduation, I am attending the University of Colorado Anschutz to receive my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Lindsey Pasena-Littlesky (women's lacrosse)
Major: Environmental Studies & Poltics with a concentration in Global Studies
Favorite Memory: One of my favorite memories is during the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples Awareness game that the lacrosse team organized. After the conference game, we set up a traditional lacrosse pole and played traditional lacrosse like how I played as a little girl. In fact, the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation Xalish lacrosse team played a traditional lacrosse game with the Whitman Women's Lacrosse on Hayner Field when I was in third grade! It was extremely surreal and fulfilling to see youth from my community, current players on the team, alumni, my coaches and parents all on the field playing together, laughing, and honoring the roots of the game. All of this happening on the last weekend of home games during my senior year, it made my experience at Whitman College circular.
Plans After College: I plan to apply to law school to become a natural resources lawyer serving my community. In addition, I will work with the Indigenous Lacrosse Alliance, an organization dedicated to sharing the history and traditional roots of the game while advancing diverse Indigenous ways of playing lacrosse.

Seanee Still (women's soccer)
Major: History (minor in geology)
Favorite Memory: My favorite Whitman student athlete memory would have to be pre season when all of us soccer girls are living in Stanton. It’s probably my favorite because everything is calm (before school starts) and we all get to be together and create memories together. Late night talks, afternoon lunch talks at Cleve. Pre season besides being hot and tired is to me my best memories.
Plans After College: My plans after graduation is to start working at the Whitman Mission through an internship program. I will also be starting my masters program online through Idaho State University.

Gunnar Woller (men's tennis)
Major: Anthropology and psychology
Favorite Memory: One of the more recent favorite memories of mine was when the team and I were delayed coming back from the NCAA tournament and ended up in a Dennys in Seattle at 1:30am where we were so tired that everything was the funniest thing in the world, from singing Mr. Cheese as a Christmas song to apples and onions being alike because they are both round! I also loved the team bonding that happened throughout the semester with us playing Among Us all the time!
Plans After College: Continuing my clinical research job as a pulmonary research admin at Intermountain Health while taking a gap year and applying for graduate programs here and in New Zealand.
