As a Freshman (2010) - Made collegiate debut in season-opening game against UC-Santa Cruz on 9/4/11 ... Made first career start the next day in 2-0 win over Bethel (Minn.) ... Registered first career points when he scored his first collegiate goal in a 1-1 tie at Puget Sound on 10/16/10 ... Caused an immediate impact when he entered the game against George Fox on 10/24/10. Six minutes after Perkins entered the game, Whitman scored the first of their five goals over the next ten minutes. Perkins assisted on Junpei Tsuji's first career goal, the fifth and final goal in Whitman's 5-2 victory.
