Whitman College Athletics

Sunny Gulberg, originally from Snohomish, Washington, graduated from Whitman College in 2002 with a degree in Psychology and has served on the W Club Board since 2021. She currently resides in Edmonds, Washington and works in operations at a tech startup. During her time at Whitman, Gulberg was a 2-time all-conference performer on the women’s basketball team and served as captain her senior year. She was also a member of the Delta Gamma sorority, participated in multiple intramural sports, and engaged in numerous volunteer activities. Following graduation, Gulberg spent 4 years as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball program under head coach Michelle Ferenz, winning a conference championship in 2004. Gulberg has coached high school girls basketball in the Seattle area for the past 14 years.
