Conner Robbins was hiredas the men's and women's golf coach in the summer of 2026. No stranger to the Northwest Conference, Robbins arrives at Whitman after five years as the head coach of both golf programs at the University of Puget Sound. During his time in Tacoma, he guided the women's team to two tournament victories, established an annual fundraising tournament, and secured Chambers Bay Golf Course and Oakbrook Golf Club as home courses for his teams.

A former captain and scholarship student-athlete at the University of Washington, Robbins competed for the Huskies after joining the program as a walk-on. He earned All-Pac-10 recognition, helped the program to a victory at the Western Intercollegiate, and played under nationally recognized coaches Matt Thurmond and O.D. Vincent III.

After graduating from Washington with a bachelor's degree in sociology, Robbins competed professionally throughout North America, including five years on the Canadian Tour. His professional playing experience included numerous top-10 finishes and helped shape the resilience, discipline and competitive mindset that he now emphasizes as a coach.

In addition to his collegiate coaching background, Robbins has served as a PGA teaching professional and currently works as a director of instruction, coaching golfers of all ages and ability levels. His experience includes player development through technology, scoring skills, course management and statistical analysis. He also brings extensive connections throughout the Pacific Northwest golf community, including relationships with facilities, teaching professionals and prospective student-athletes.
