Leah Bush was hired as the women's tennis assistant coach in Sept, 2019.
Bush played collegiately at Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. where she earned her undergraduate degree in the spring of 2019. In her four seasons with the Ephs, Bush earned All-American honors as a sophomore and senior and is a four-time ITA Scholar-Athlete. She was also a two-time all-conference performer with all-NESCAC selections in 2017 and 2019.
In 2019, in addition to being an All-American, was selected as the ITA's Division III Women's Most Improved Senior Player of the Year.
In the summer of 2019, Bush was selected as the lone NCAA DIII former player and one of only six recent graduates to participate in the USTA Player Development Fellowship. "This summer was an incredible launch to her coaching career," added Hein, "working with national American junior and professional players with the USTA, and she made the most of it. In our search process it was clear that Leah would be able to coach a variety of players while valuing the family atmosphere of our team."Â
