2018-19 Women's All-Conference Team

HILLSBORO, Ore. - Shiyang Fan has been named the Northwest Conference's Women's Golf Player of the Year, announced Tuesday and voted on by the league's nine coaches. Also earning first-team honors was Hannah Roh with Emma Beyer, Kacey Godwin and Ally Collier named to the second team.

On the men's side, Tom Hoyne had a solid showing at the Championships to earn him an all-NWC second team nod.

Fan had a stellar 2018-19 campaign which hopes to continue into the national tournament. Just this past weekend, she won the individual title at the Northwest Conference Championship. Her top finish guided the Blues to the tournament title and an eventual co-championship with George Fox. She also took top honors at the NWC Fall Classic.

Roh impressed this past weekend as well. She closed the tournament near the top of the leaderboard, tied for third after improving seven strokes on her final round to finish 13-over par.

Beyer, Godwin and Collier, in earning second-team honors were instrumental in their team's NWC Championship win. Beyer and Godwin cracked the top 10 with Collier just outside in finishing with a tie for 14th.
