Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 LEWISTON, Idaho - The Whitman College men's tennis team crossed state lines for a pair of matches today, first against Division I Idaho then at Lewis-Clark State College. Playing split squads on the day, the Blues fell 7-0 in both matches.

Against Idaho in the first match of the day, the Vandals grabbed the doubles point after wins on the No. 1 and No. 3 courts. With the point at hand, Whitman's pair of Rajul Chikkalingaiah and Andreas Mueller-Immergluck played a tight match but ultimately fell 7-6 to the Idaho tandem of Bruno Casino and Alhaf Dhaifullah.

The Vandals clinched the win at fourth singles. Bruno and Chikkalingaiah again squared off but with the same result, a 6-3, 6-1 win for Bruno.

Whitman closed the day with a loss at Lewis-Clark State. Results will be forthcoming.

The Blues serve up Northwest Conference play in March, first visiting Whitworth on Saturday, Mar. 7 for a 1:00 p.m. match.
