SPECTATOR POLICY
WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Kim Evanger Raney Memorial Classic, hosted by the No. 2 Whitman College women's basketball team, is returning to the Sherwood Center. Due to a restructured 2020-21 schedule resulting from the Coronavirus, the Blues were unable to hold the annual event last season but will again host it this week (Dec. 11 & 12). The Classic is a celebration of the late Kim Evanger Raney's love for basketball, the former Whitman basketball player who was tragically killed in a cycling accident in March of 2007.
"After not getting to host our Kim Evanger Raney Classic last year due to COVID, we are very excited to be back and still working with our amazing sponsor The Best Western Plus here in Walla Walla," said Whitman head coach
Michelle Ferenz. "These will be our first home games of the 2021-22 season after starting with seven straight on the road and we are thrilled to finally be back in Sherwood Center. A big thank you to our co-hosts Whitworth University and Walla Walla University and Colorado College for their participation. All these teams are having great seasons and it promises to be a very good weekend of basketball."

Promotions: On Sunday, fans and/or team family members wearing a holiday outfit will receive raffle tickets for a drawing for prizes between games.
Prior to attending, please review our
spectator policy regarding indoor athletic events on the Whitman College campus. ALL attendees must be fully vaccinated without exception.
