WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Whitman College was named in 2021 as among the top destinations for both Division III men's and women's basketball by College Factual.

College Factual analyzed nearly 400 colleges and universities around the nation and determined Whitman as the top Division III school for a men's basketball student-athlete with the women's program tabbed 12th in the same study.

College Factual, an organization which assesses the needs of higher education, looked at a number of factors that are all objective measurements. Those factors include the school's overall quality as determined by College Factual's Best Colleges ranking and the athletic competitiveness of the school's basketball programs.
