The lead swelled to as many as 17 points before Whitman took a 10-point lead into the break.
The Lutes again had a good start to a period and shaved the deficit to six points early in the third quarter. But once again Whitman had an answer as jumpers from Baker and Brianna Andrade pushed the lead back up to 14 points with under five minutes to go in the quarter.
Whitman led by double digits the rest of the way and put the game to bed after Carlisle's three pointer with 5:23 to play in the fourth quarter put the Blues up 65-45.
