Box Score WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Artem Manov won at both doubles and singles to lead a well balanced team performance as the #45 Whitman College men's tennis team topped Pacific 6-3 in Northwest Conference action at the Whitman Tennis Courts. 

The win for the Blues (7-11, 4-0 NWC) keeps them perfect in league play which is approaching its midpoint in the schedule. The victory also provided a little get back after Whitman fell to the Boxers in last year's NWC Tournament Semifinals.

Manov and Charles Rush opened up doubles play with a win at the one, and the pair of Braeden Thomas and Noah Baker ensured the Blues the lead with their No. 3 court win over Josh Matabuena and Ryley Ching.

Whitman finished the match with three quick wins in singles play. Manov was again the first to finish when he topped Jon Nguyen at the three 6-2, 6-0. Lucas Huang won 6-0, 6-3 at the two and Alejandro Raffo provided the match-clincher with his 6-1, 6-2 win at sixth singles over Chang.

Whitman concludes its weekend homestand on Sunday against Willamette at 11:00 a.m.
