NEWBERG, Ore. - The ITA Fall Northwest Regional Championship came to a close on Sunday which saw multiple titles won by members of the Whitman College men's tennis team.  

Cameron Yang captured the main draw A singles title, winning the championship match over George Fox after dropping the opening set and rallying for a 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory. Yang's win came after topping teammate Lucas Huang in the semifinals 6-3, 6-3.

The Blues also claimed the doubles championship after Alexander Stage and Noah Baker topped Diego Guzman and Charles Rush 8-6 in an all-Whitman final.

Hanri Luo successfully defended his B singles title also in an all-Whitman final. He topped Rush in the championship match 6-4, 6-3 for back-to-back titles. The B draw was littered with Whitman success as the Blues represented three of the four semifinal competitors.

Chris O'Farrill wrapped up a run of single titles with his back draw win in the A draw consolation.

Yang and the doubles pair of Stage and Baker, with their ITA Regional titles, now qualify and will compete in the ITA Cup held next month.
