With more swimmers advancing to final heats and collecting personal bests, Whitman athletes continued to show grit and improvement against some of the Northwest region's toughest collegiate competitors.

The invitational wraps up Sunday, with Whitman swimmers looking to build on momentum and post more strong results in the final day of competition.
