Men's Golf Tops The Leaderboard After Day 1, Women Sit At Second

VENTURA, Calif. - The men's and women's golf teams teed off the 2025-26 campaign on Monday with Day 1 of the CA State Intercollegiate hosted by Cal Lutheran at the Olivia Links.

Day 1 consisted of two opening rounds of a total of 36 holes. The men's team fired a 19 under par over rounds one and two for the best 36 hole day in program history. The Blues closed the day at the top of the team leaderboard with Pomona-Pitzer five strokes back.

Grady Brown and Mason Remington paced the Blues, both firing six under par and sitting tied for third on the individual leaderboard.

The women's side played a round of 18 holes on Day 1 which saw Whitman close at 11 over par, good for second on the team leaderboard.

Beatrice Archer, Cindy Luo and Camilla Yoo all had solid outings. Archer led the charge and shot an even par to close the day fourth overall. Luo finished one stroke back of Archer for fifth, and Yoo cracked the top 10 after carding a three over 75.
