Men's, Women's Tennis Teams Garner ITA All-American Honors

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Whitman College men's and women's tennis teams were recognized among the nation's best as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its All-American honorees, with five Blues across both teams earning distinction following standout performances in the fall.

On the women's side, Nana Vang garnered ITA All-American honors in both singles and doubles after capturing both titles at the ITA Fall Northwest Regional Championships. Doubles mate Sascha Wells also earned All-American recognition after her doubles title with Vang.

On the men's side, Alexander Stage earned ITA All-American honors in singles after winning the Fall Northwest Regional title. In doubles, Artem Manov and Charles Rush secured All-American status following their championship run in the fall regional tournament.

Among other criteria, the ITA awards All-American honors to student-athletes who win singles or doubles titles at ITA Fall Regional Championships, recognizing them among the top competitors in collegiate tennis.
