Biography

Freshman season - Threw six innings in first career start against Pacific. He scattered six hits, giving up one earned run and striking out six ... Earned first win of his college career in a 7-5 victory over Lewis and Clark. Spencer threw four innings of solid relief giving up four hits and one run while striking out five.

Prep - Played for three years on the varsity squad at Tahoma HS. Was named team captain his senior year, while earning second-team all-league honors. Helped carry Tahoma to a third place finish in the 2011 Washington 4A State Playoffs. Was 10-0 in league as a high school starter. Went 15-3 in two seasons with Taylor Baseball. Also was the captain of the varsity basketball program at Tahoma for three seasons.

Academics - Interested in studying math and engineering at Whitman.

Personal - Parents names are David and Anne. He also has two sisters named Chloe and Sydney.
