Jocelyn Awe was hired as the Director of Sports Performance and the BFFC in June, 2021. Awe will oversee the strength and conditioning programs for all varsity sports as well as the operations of the Baker Ferguson Fitness Center.
Awe came to Whitman after serving the past five years as the Director of Strength & Conditioning at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill. He oversaw the strength and conditioning, and nutrition monitoring of student-athletes from each of the school's 13 varsity sports. Awe also brings Division I experience having assisted with the strength and conditioning programs at both Northwestern University and the University of Minnesota.Â
Awe earned his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and received his MBA in Management from St. Francis in 2018 during his time heading up the strength & conditioning program for the fighting Saints.
