Whitman College Athletics

Lance Sappington has been an assistant coach the men's tennis team since the fall 2018, and provides support for the women's tennis team as well. He is largely responsible for fitness and conditioning.

Outside of coaching with the Blues, Sappington works in management at Variable Maps in Walla Walla. He also is in involved in sales for wine tasting.

Sappington is a 1995 graduate of the University of Washington and has a master in teaching from Washington State University.
