Ewing joined the Whitman staff prior to the 2016-17 season.
A 2016 graduate of Kalamazoo (Mich.) College he culminated his swimming career by earning All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) honors for a fourth time after his senior campaign. Ewing, a native of Deerfield, Illinois, also served as a team captain during his final year.
During his four-year career in the pool with the Hornets he captured four individual titles at MIAAÂ conference meets including back-to-back crowns in the 200-yard backstroke. His other titles include a win in the 200 individual medley and one in the 400 IM.
Ewing twice earned honorable mention College Swim Coaches Association of America scholar all-American recognition in his career.
