Chelsea Patton brings a strong coaching and playing background to her position as the new assistant women's tennis coach. Patton coached at the Nike Tennis Camps at Pepperdine University in 2010 and 2011 as well as serving on the staff at the Walla Walla Wine and Tennis Camps with Whitman coach Jeff Northam. This past summer of 2013, Chelsea was the Head Tennis Director for the Family Vacation Center, located in Santa Barbara, California.

As a player, Patton was a top ranked Intermountain junior performer before playing four years of varsity tennis for Eastern Washington University where she graduated with degrees in French and Business Marketing in June of 2013.

Patton comes from a tennis family as her father, Greg Patton, is the head men's coach at Boise State.
