Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Whitman College women's volleyball team closed a nine-day, eight-match stretch this afternoon, falling to Whittier College then sweeping UC Santa Cruz on the final day of the Cal Lu Fornia Invitational. 

Both matches resulted in sweeps with Whitman finishing the tournament with a 1-3 record and now standing at 4-4 overall.

The Blues now set their sights on Northwest Conference play, hosting Lewis & Clark this Friday, Sept. 14 then Willamette on Saturday. Match times are set for 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., respectively.
