Box Score ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Whitman College women's tennis team put together another solid outing, this time resulting in a victory as the Blues dominated DePauw University 9-0 on Saturday at the Forest Lake Indoor Courts.

Teleya Blunt led the way with wins on the No. 1 courts in both doubles and singles. Jin Yu did the same on the No. 2 courts.

The team of Yu and Ilina Jha notched the match's first point after beating the DePauw duo of Valerie Doherty and Kassie Green 8-2 at the two. Whitman assured itself of the lead heading to singles after Blunt and Arianna Castellanos won their No. 1 doubles match 8-5.

With the Blues (4-2) up by three heading to singles, Sascha Wells and Yu made quick work of their opponents to clinch the win. Wells served up a 6-0, 6-0 win to start singles play, then Yu provided the match clincher with her 6-0, 6-3 win over Doherty at the two.

The Blues swept all singles matches with four sets won at love.

Whitman now returns home and will kick off Northwest Conference play at Whitworth on Saturday, March 2 at 2:00 p.m.
