WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Whitman College Baseball program is excited to host several upcoming events supporting Little League baseball in the Walla Walla Valley.

Little League Day, sponsored by Sweet Basil Pizzeria, will be held on Tuesday March 12th when the Blues host Vassar College in a double header.  Beginning at 3:30pm, the first 200 fans through the gates will get a free slice of pizza from Sweet Basil.  Representatives from the new Walla Walla Little League will be on site for kids aged 4-13 years old to register to play Little League baseball this spring.

On Wednesday March 13th, Whitman Baseball will host its annual Little League Spring Training Camp presented by Walla Walla Builders Supply from 4-6pm at Borleske Stadium.  This camp is open to all kids aged 4-13 years old and is free to participate in.  All campers will receive a Whitman Baseball t-shirt.

The Blues will help majors level teams launch the spring season with a Little League Jamboree on March 18th and 19th also presented by Walla Walla Builders Supply.  Once teams are formed, a schedule will be set in conjunction with Walla Walla Little League coaches for teams to scrimmage under the lights at Borleske Stadium on one of the jamboree days.

It is a goal of the Whitman Baseball program to help grow the game of baseball in the Walla Walla Valley and provide accessible opportunities for kids in our community to play.
