Mason Remington Wins NWC Fall Classic Title

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference Fall Classic came to a close on Monday afternoon which saw the Whitman College men's and women's golf teams both move up a spot in the final round to finish second and third, respectively.

The day was highlighted by Mason Remington claiming his second Classic title in three years. He moved up four spots on the leaderboard after firing a two under par on the round to finish at two under, one stroke better than Willamette's Brock Olsen.

Caelan Wobbrock finished the tournament at five over par good for a tie for seventh.

Camila Yoo had a fine overall performance for the women's squad. She moved up two spots in the final round to finish in fifth place.

The Blues close the fall next Sunday and Monday hosting the Confluence Classic.
