Blues Land Five On All-Conference Team, Glorioso Named Defensive Player of the Year

HILLSBORO, Ore. - Kiki Glorioso headlined an impressive showing for the Whitman College Blues women's soccer team, named the league's defensive player of the year as the Northwest All-Conference awards were announced on Wednesday by the conference office.

Glorioso earned her second major honor in as many years after being voted the Northwest Conference Rookie of the Year in 2024. She was also named to the first team for the second time.

Also earning honors were Leah Barnes (second team), Ellie Cortes-Muniz (second team), Emoree Lash (second team) and Katherine Sand (third team). Barnes and Cortez-Muniz earned conference honors for the second straight season.

Glorioso and Cortez-Muniz were members of a backline that allowed fewer than one goal per game during conference play which ranked in the top half of the league.

Lash and Barnes tied for the team lead in goals (3).
