The opener looked to be a carry over from the day before. Wyatt Adams (1-1) suffered his first loss of the season after pitching four and one third innings and giving up five runs on eight while walking six batters.

Leo Bristow (3-0) earned the win for the Kingsman. He scattered four hits over five and two-thirds innings with eight strikeouts before exiting the game in the sixth inning for Joshua Kim. Kim was equally as dominant with two and two-thirds innings of scoreless work.

The Blues regrouped in the nightcap and notched their first win of the series on the heels of Halen Otte's seventh-inning grand slam.

Whitman was stymied at the plate through the first four innings but the floodgates opened in the fifth. The Blues scored three in the fifth, two in the sixth and blew the game open after Otte's grand slam put them up 10-1 after six and one-half innings.

Oliver Brown (2-0) notched his second win of the season after allowing three runs on six hits in five and one-third innings.

Korahais again led Whitman at the plate with a team-high three hits while also scoring a run. Nathan Wilson scored and drove in three runs and Otte batted 2-4 with one run and six RBI.
