Nate Korahais continued his hot streak at the plate in the opener, leading Whitman with two hits, two runs and two RBI. His two runs driven in came as part of a five-run second inning that put the Blues out in front 7-0.

Wyatt Miyamoto capped the game with some fireworks, belting his first collegiate homerun, a three-run bomb that capped the scoring in the eighth inning.

Halen Otte also kept his bat alive with two hits, two runs and two RBI, and Tristan Buehring added one double, one run and two RBI.

The back half of the order did the work as well. Luke Malzewski and AJ Romero both had two hits, two runs and an RBI with Malzewski adding a double.

Ramsey led the Panthers with two hits including a triple and a run scored.

Russell Peterson (1-2) delivered a solid outing on the mound to pick up his first win. He allowed two runs on five hits with nine strikeouts in seven complete innings.
