Former Blue Amato Signs Pro Contract

Isaiah Amato, a standout guard for the Whitman College men's basketball team, has signed a professional contract with BBC Nord Dragonz in Austria. The Portland, Oregon native recently completed a successful collegiate career as part of the Class of 2025 at Whitman, where he majored in economics.

"Isaiah is a special player and person," said John Lamanna, head coach of the Whitman men's basketball team. "He brought a unique combination of skill, poise, and leadership to our program. His growth on and off the court has been tremendous, and we're thrilled to see him continue his basketball journey professionally. Austria is getting not just a talented athlete, but a tremendous teammate and competitor."
