Golf Teams Conclude Willamette Cup

SALEM, Ore. - The Whitman College men's and women's golf teams concluded the two-day Willamette Cup with mixed results. The men's squad finished in tie for third with the women's team placed 10th.

Played at the Creekside Golf Course, Grady Brown delivered a fine performance in the men's competition. He finished in a tie for third after carding an even par on day one and finishing two under by the tournament's conclusion.

Down the leaderboard for the Blues were Ben Sweet who carded an even par good for a tie for ninth and Eshan Singh who shot a one over and placed in a tie for 13th.

The team finished in a tie for second with Willamette, rallying and finishing even par for the tournament.

Camilla Yoo paced the Blues in the women's competition after carding a 14-over and placing seventh.

The men's squad next heads to Florida for a two-day tournament on March 19-20, and the women's team takes part in the Santa Cruz Invite on March 28-29.
