Whitman College Athletics

Joey Harmon was hired at the assistant baseball coach in the summer of 2026. He most recently served as the Director of Hitting Analytics at Utah Valley University.  During his time at Utah Valley, he was instrumental in hitter development, building out player programming and leading metric based analysis.  He played a vital role on their coaching staff helping to set the team's hitting approach, make in-game decisions for offensive execution, formulate scouting reports, and more while also taking on primary responsibilities with on-campus recruiting and running camps.

A graduate of Pacific University, Joey is very familiar with our conference.  He was a standout pitcher for the Boxers before finishing his playing career at Utah Valley University.  Joey will work primarily with hitters.
