WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The season opener for Whitman College's baseball team scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Borleske Stadium has been postponed due to field conditions following days of inclement weather and ground thaw from the sudden increase in local temperatures.

The Missionaries were originally scheduled to take on visiting Corban University in a non-conference doubleheader starting at noon.

The teams will seek a date later in the season to make up the games.
