WALLA WALLA, Wash.  Whitman's baseball team hosts more than just Lewis & Clark College Thursday at 4 p.m. at Borleske Stadium. The Blues will also be hosting Whitman College's Green Dot program in an event that promotes the positive ideas and ideals for which Whitman students and student-athletes support.

As the College's Website states, "Whitman College is committed to ending sexual misconduct one Green Dot at a time." The symbol signifies an individual's choice at any moment in which to make the campus safer.

The Whitman baseball team will sport visible green dots on their jersey sleeves as a show of support for the program.

Thursday's Green Dot event at Borleske includes a Greek Advocates tailgate that begins at 4:30 p.m. Other activities for the afternoon includes several raffles and activities related to bystander awareness.
