WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Lewis-Clark College men and George Fox University women took home both team and individual honors Monday at Wine Valley Golf Club on the final day of the Confluence Classic.

Juan Pablo Quisoboni followed his opening six under par 66 with a solid two over par 74 in windy conditions for a two stroke victory over PLU's Marcus Otto. Also breaking par for the Warriors for the tournament was Alex Navarro, whose even par 72 Monday left him in a three way tie at -1 143 with Brenden Borck from Goerge Fox (69-74) and Linfield's Riley Lynch (70-73). Cade Streeter from UPS finished the tournament alone in 6th place at even par (71-73). For Whitman's Blues, Dawson Fish rode three front-nine birdies to a team low 73 and a two day total of 149 (76-73), followed closely by Ben Sweet (75-76: 151), Mason Remington (73-79: 152), Eshan Singh (72-81: 153) and Parker Krovisky (73-82: 155) for a sixth place finish behind LCSC's 283-298: 578.

As expected, the defending national champion George Fox Bruins won in convincing fashion, shooting 303 at Wine Valley after Sunday's 293 at Veteran's Memorial for a two day total of 596, beating Whitworth University comfortably (298-326: 624), led by co-medalists Makensie Toole and Alison Takamiya. The Blues were led by first years Ellena Jeong (77-75: 152 6th) and Samantha Torres (74-82: 156 9th), both recording top ten finishes. Cindy Luo (79-87: 166), Beatrice Archer (82-86: 168) and Malaina Sidhu (83-89: 172) rounded out Whitman's scoring while senior Pavita Sidhu (83-92: 175) competed in her first tournament of the season as an individual.

The Confluence Classic concludes play for the fall portion of the golf schedule prior to resuming in the spring.
