Outstanding Performances For Whitman Golf At Confluence Classic

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - At the Confluence Classic held at the Wine Valley Golf Course, Whitman College's golf teams delivered a commanding performance that showcased precision, poise, and teamwork.

The Blues men's squad seized the team title behind stellar rounds from sophomore Grady Brown and Caelan Wobbrock, while the women's side celebrated an individual victory courtesy of Beatrice Archer.

Brown was at his best throughout the two-day event, firing a steady four-under-par to secure the men's individual crown. His consistent ball striking and clutch putting sealed his place atop the leaderboard.

Right behind him, Wobbrock provided a strong complement to the team's success, carding a two-under total to take second place overall. Together, their efforts propelled Whitman comfortably ahead of the field to claim the Confluence Classic team trophy.

On the women's side, Archer capped off the tournament in thrilling fashion. She stayed composed down the stretch to finish at six over par, good enough for a one-stroke victory and the individual title. Her win marked another standout moment for Whitman golf, underscoring the program's growing depth across both squads.

The Classic concludes the fall portion of the schedule for both squads who return to action this spring.
