Walla Walla, Wash. - The Whitman College Baseball program is set to host its annual Prospect Camp presented by Sweet Basil Pizzeria this coming July 16-17, 2023.
Held at Borleske Stadium, the home of Whitman Baseball, this camp will provide prospective student-athletes with the opportunity for skill instruction and evaluation as well as live game play in front of the Whitman coaching staff. Many current and former Blues have been identified at Whitman baseball camps including former All-Northwest Conference honorees Kevin Nakamura ('21) and
Leo Rivera ('22).
This prospect camp is open to all high school aged players as well as junior college transfers and NCAA transfer-eligible players. Cost is $100 for position players and $75 for pitcher only. For $25 each, players have the option of purchasing Rapsodo (pitching) and Blast Motion (hitting) metrics. All players will receive a Whitman Baseball Nike t-shirt.
Check in for camp will be at 4:30pm on Sunday, July 16th. Included for all players is dinner and a ticket to the Walla Walla Sweets game that evening, followed by the on-field portion of camp throughout the day on Monday, July 17th.
