The men's top 10 finish in the 8K was highlighted by three runners running their personal best times. Reilly McVay led the way with a PR of 24:52.8 and a 21st-place finish. Jack McManus was close behind, placing 33rd with a race time of 25.11.3.

Both McVay and McManus were named to the NCAA All-region Team.

Jonathan Grothe was the third Whitman runner to cross the finish line (50th, 25:41.4) and Jack Rousseau and Danny Steinberg finished with personal bests.
