WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Whitman College Men's Golf Team opened their spring season Sunday at Veteran's Memorial Golf Course in Walla Walla with a 4 1/2 to 2 1/2 dual match victory over Whitworth University.
The dual consisted of seven individual matches with the Blues winning 4 of the seven matches, halving one and dropping only 2 matches. Whitman was led by Juniors Alex Knox who fired a 1 under par 71 to best Whitworth's Sam Pauly who had 75 and
Parker Krovisky who edged Whitworth's Matthew Durkin 72 to 73.
