Women's Golf Places Third at Pacific Invitational

NORTH PLAINS, Ore. - The Whitman College women's golf team saw three individuals crack the top 10 in the final individual leaderboard as the two-day Pacific Invitational held at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club came to a close on Sunday afternoon.

Ellena Jeong brought her A game on Day 2 after a tough opening round. She carded 14-over on Saturday but came back and shot eight strokes better and moved up eight spots to No. 7 on the final leaderboard.

Camilla Woo finished eighth and Samantha Torress placed 10th. Torres moved up two spots from Saturday's round to land a spot in the top 10.

The Blues excelled as a team as well and placed third in the tournament, the best showing of any Northwest Conference team.
