Men's Golf Garners GCAA Academic Honors

NORMAN, Okla. – After stellar years in the classroom, four members of the Whitman College men's golf team were named as NCAA Division III GCAA All-America Scholars, announced by the GCAA (Golf Coaches Association of America). Ben Sweet, Alexander Knox, Mason Remington and Parker Krovisky were the honorees for the Blues.

To be eligible for the award the individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. The student-athlete and must have participated in 40-percent of his team's competitive rounds and, in the Division III category, have a stroke-average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III while maintaining a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.
